On April 1, we learned that the Israeli army withdrew from the Al-Shifa hospital, which it had invaded two weeks earlier. 

Two weeks during which the images and information arriving from the largest hospital in Gaza froze the blood: explosions, fires, shootings, arrests, disappearances... After this withdrawal, horror invades those who are willing to look: more than 300 women, children and men massacred. 

Many executed with their hands tied, some crushed by tanks, burned or cut into pieces by missiles, skeletal remains and human pieces everywhere, decomposing. These atrocious scenes come to us, filmed by witnesses, in chilling stories. 

The crimes of the Israeli army are beyond anything anyone could have imagined. She besieged, terrorized and starved staff and patients for 11 days until maggots appeared on the wounds of some. Among the corpses, that of doctor Ahmad Al-Maqadma and his mother. 

The last contact with them dated 4 days previously. Parallel to the "operations" inside the hospital, Israel finished methodically destroying the entire surrounding neighborhood, massacring the inhabitants, family after family, under bombs, arresting civilians. without discrimination, up to a 94-year-old woman from whom no one has any news. People ordered to flee for their lives, only to be shot like rabbits. And Israel claims that no civilians have been killed. And meanwhile, the famine is gaining more and more, all the sights are red. 

In Gaza, we no longer die just from bombs or from lack of care, we die from hunger. And not because of a natural disaster, but because of the will of Israel, which has planned famine in Gaza for six months. Despite the obligation reminded of Israel at the end of March by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid, trucks are still blocked; despite the immediate ceasefire imposed by the vote of the UN Security Council, which would allow their transportation, Israel continues the bombings. 

The day after the evacuation of Al-Shifa hospital, Israel assassinated seven humanitarian workers of the World Central Kitchen organization by methodically targeting their three vehicles, one after the other. It is their presence in the north of the Gaza Strip to try to counter the famine that Israel wants to ban. Successful operation, they withdrew. The fact that these humanitarian workers were Western aroused unanimous international indignation and condemnation. 

It should be remembered that 189 humanitarian personnel, including 175 members of UN agencies, have already been victims of war crimes in Gaza. The same day, it bombed an embassy of a third country, killing 11. Israel crosses all lines red one after the other without anyone stopping him: always total impunity! 

The United States continues to supply it with weapons; As for France, let us listen to Yaël Braun Pivet, President of the National Assembly, to whom the question of sanctions was asked: “the time has not come for sanctions, the time has come to continue the dialogue”. As if dialogue with criminals of this ilk had the slightest chance of succeeding. The President of the National Assembly, however, knows perfectly well that France has the obligation to act so that the orders of the ICJ are applied, to act so that the ongoing genocide is stopped. 

Only sanctions can have an effect on Israel: suspension of the association agreement between the European Union and Israel, military embargo, severance of the planned graduated diplomatic relations. Do Palestinian lives matter so little? How can this de facto complicity be assumed so casually?
