Israel refuses to stop the war and offers an agreement in 3 stages
On Saturday evening, Hebrew sources revealed the response of the Israeli Government that Tel Aviv presented to the mediators regarding the ceasefire in Gaza and the possible exchange deal.
The sources reported that Tel Aviv’s response, which was presented to the mediators, rejected stopping the war, withdrawing its forces, and returning the displaced without conditions.
In addition, sources confirmed, according to what was reported by Al Jazeera, that Tel Aviv stipulated the release in the first stage of 40 living Israeli prisoners of all categories.
According to the sources, the response of the occupying entity maintained the framework of the agreement in 3 stages.
The Israeli response also presented detailed points regarding the exchange of prisoners and the conditions for stopping operations, while the response presented a restricted return of 2,000 displaced persons per day to the northern Gaza Strip two weeks after the start of implementation.
Tel Aviv rejected Hamas's request to release 30 life sentencers for every female soldier, and only offered 5 that it specified.
It also requested, in exchange for the release of prisoners re-arrested from the Shalit deal, the release of soldiers Golden and Aaron
The Israeli response included the right to deport the life-sentenced prisoners who would be released according to the deal out of Palestine.
