Israeli media: America is no longer on our side and it is time to blow the final whistle
Israeli political and military analysts - in their discussions on Israeli media channels - criticized Benjamin Netanyahu's government's determination to continue its war on the Gaza Strip without achieving any progress. They also touched on developments in the West Bank and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Channel 13 political affairs analyst, Eyal Berkovitch, said that the United States of America is no longer on Israel's side, "It is tired of this war."
While he wondered whether the time was right for the Israeli army to attack the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, Berkowitz believed that this attack would lead to the death of more Israeli soldiers.
In this context, Alon Ben David, a military affairs analyst on Channel 13, said, “Our soldiers are very exhausted, and Major General Givati and the commandos have exhausted their strength to the point that they have not gone home for a long time. They went out to rest twice in the war,” stressing that the Israeli brigades are engaged in very fierce fighting in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and described the battle with the Palestinian resistance as characterized by stagnation.
Ben David acknowledged that Israel was not making progress in its war on Gaza, saying, “We are in a battle in which there is no progress, and we have been stuck in the mud for a long time without progress.” He added, “It is time to blow the final whistle in Khan Yunis. We have exhausted the forces there to a great extent and devoted a lot of time.” Effort".
Regarding the issue of the West Bank, Muhammad Majadela, an Arab affairs analyst on Channel 12, spoke about what he said were the efforts of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to unify the squares during the month of Ramadan, claiming that it was betting on this matter.
In the same discussion session on Channel 12, Idi Karmi, a former senior officer in the Israeli internal security service (Shin Bet), objected to Mujadela’s use of the term West Bank and not “Judea and Samaria.”
On the same channel, Yoav Zavi from the information department of Channel 12 revealed that Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir wants severe and dangerous restrictions in Al-Aqsa Mosque, but Prime Minister Netanyahu actually decides to adopt the recommendations of the Israeli army and the Shin Bet, and decides that the situation will be as it was before, by not Imposing restrictions on Israeli Arabs entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Regarding the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, the political affairs analyst on the Israeli Channel 12 claimed that the head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, is not interested in reaching a deal and wants to take advantage of Ramadan to link arenas to the war against Israel.
