West Bank: Injuries in confrontations with Israeli forces and settler's attacks
A number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation during confrontations that broke out with the Israeli forces in the village of Osrin, south of Nablus, today, Friday.
The details stated that the occupation forces stormed the village amidst firing live bullets and tear gas and sound bombs, as a result of which confrontations broke out that led to a number of citizens suffocating.
This evening, settlers stormed the homes of citizens in the Arab Al-Malihat community on Al-Ma'rajat Road, northwest of the city of Jericho, and assaulted its residents, beating them and wounding a number of them.
In detail, a group of armed settlers who rode in their vehicles stormed the Al-Malihat Arab community, raided a number of citizens’ homes, searched 12 homes by force, and wreaked havoc on them.
Settlers beat up a number of citizens while searching their homes, leading to injuries among them, while children and women were terrorized.
Settlers' attacks on Bedouin communities northwest of Jericho are repeated, storming their communities and preventing them from expanding, housing, and grazing livestock.
Settlers attacked the village of Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, and fired live bullets at citizens, their homes, and shops, and pursued a group of young men on the outskirts of the village.
It was reported that some settlers attacked the shops on the main street, and tried to attack some homes, but the villagers confronted them.
It is noteworthy that since yesterday evening, the settlers have been trying to harass the villagers and attack them. They also placed 6 mobile homes (caravans) south of the village, and a settler ran over a citizen of the village.
Settlers attacked citizens in the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah, under the protection of the occupation army, which arrested two young men.
Local sources reported that a number of settlers attacked citizens under the protection of the occupation forces in the Ain Samiya area, while the occupation arrested two young men from the neighboring village of Al-Mughayir, whose identities were not known.
In addition, confrontations broke out with the Israeli forces in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem. The confrontations were concentrated in the vicinity of the cemetery in the Old City, during which the Israeli forces fired bullets and poison gas and stun grenades, without reporting any casualties.
The Israeli forces also closed the eastern entrance to the town, enforcing its closure of the town, after erecting a checkpoint at its western entrance.
