West Bank: Israeli settler tramples and assaults a Palestinian citizen south of Nablus
A Palestinian citizen was injured as a result of being trampled on and assaulted by a settler, Thursday evening, near the entrance to the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
The head of the Eastern AL-Lubban Council, Yaqoub Owais, reported that a settler ran over and assaulted citizen Mahdi Samir Mahmoud Al-Azza, while he was heading to his house near the main street that connects the governorates of Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Nablus, which led to his injury, and he was taken to the hospital.
Owais added that the settlers destroyed a number of vehicles belonging to the Al-Azza family, noting that the conditions are very difficult on the outskirts of the village, as the settlers are trying to attack the homes located on the main street.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli forces closed the entrance to the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya with an iron gate and dirt barriers since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, which hinders the movement of citizens on a daily basis.
