Israeli bombing targets aid columns in Gaza, and the death toll exceeds 30,000

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced - today, Thursday - that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has exceeded 30,000 since the start of the war on October 7, while Israeli forces continue to launch violent raids on several areas in the Strip.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said - according to French - that the death toll exceeded 30,000 after 79 people arrived in Gaza Strip hospitals yesterday, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 50 Palestinians were killed and more than 200 others were injured, after the Israeli forces bombed a gathering of citizens waiting to receive aid, near the Nabulsi roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip, and some of them were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Violent bombing also targeted the last homes in the Nuseirat camp and Wadi Gaza, resulting in dead and wounded.

A number of dead arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of an Israeli bombing on Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and pictures showed bodies piled up on the floor of the hospital due to the lack of space in refrigerators for the dead.

The disaster worsens

For his part, the media advisor to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the situation in Gaza is catastrophic, especially in the north, and the population is not able to confront diseases.

The advisor called for opening the seven land crossings with Gaza and accelerating inspections and the entry of aid. He added that the prevention of aid is dangerous and a violation of international humanitarian law.

The Ministry of Health said yesterday that the residents of the northern Gaza Strip are now without any health services, after the generator of Kamal Adwan Hospital stopped as a result of the lack of fuel and it was out of service.

The Ministry added, in a statement, that Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last hospital in northern Gaza, was out of service, and with the electric generator stopping, residents will lose dialysis, intensive care, nursery, internal medicine, cardiology, general surgery, overnight stays, and pediatric emergency services.

During the war on Gaza, Israel put 31 hospitals out of service by bombing, destroying, and depriving them of medical supplies and fuel out of a total of 36, and also partially targeted 152 health institutions, according to the government media office.
