Gaza Health: The death toll from the famine among children has risen to 7

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Wednesday, that four children died, and seven others are in critical condition, as a result of dehydration and malnutrition at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

The hospital administration had previously announced the cessation of operations after it ran out of fuel.

The Ministry of Health also confirmed that the death toll from famine among children had risen to 7 as a result of drought and malnutrition.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, called on international institutions to take immediate action to prevent the humanitarian catastrophe in the northern Gaza Strip, adding: “The international community is facing a moral and humanitarian test to stop the genocide committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.”

The Israeli army continued its bloody attacks on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, which left dozens of killed and wounded.

The new attacks targeted areas in Gaza City and the north, and others in the center and south of the Strip, where Israeli artillery deliberately targeted residential areas close to shelter centers in the city of Khan Yunis.

According to local sources, the Israeli forces destroyed residential homes located west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which had been subjected to a violent ground attack for three months.

A number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the Israeli forces’ bombing of Gaza, while citizens were waiting for aid trucks on the “Al-Rashid” coastal road, west of the city.

The Israeli forces targeted two houses in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, and another in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, where these raids resulted in the death of three persons and the wounding of others.

The new raids also targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, which has been subjected to a new ground attack for more than a week, during which the attacks included armed clashes waged by the resistance that confronted those invading forces.

Ambulance crews were unable to reach the victims in this neighborhood, due to the occupation army's continued shooting and bombing operations.
