Prime Minister of Scotland: Britain must keep its head down in the face of the Gaza massacres

Scottish Prime Minister Hamza Yousef, on Monday, attacked the government and opposition in Britain for refusing to call for a ceasefire in Gaza, where more than 28,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, were martyred as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression since the seventh of last October.

Youssef called on the British government and opposition to "hang their heads in shame as we witness a massacre in which thousands of women and children are killed in Gaza."

This came in a post he made on the “X” platform, which he attached to quotes from a letter sent by Scottish National Party leader Stephen Flynn to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and opposition Labor Party leader Keir Starmer, urging them to support calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Youssef said - in the post - that the reluctance of Starmer and Sunak to call for an immediate ceasefire will never be forgotten or forgiven.

Since the seventh of last October, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which has so far led to the death of more than 28,000 martyrs and 70,000 wounded, most of whom are women and children.

The war in northern Gaza led to the displacement of most of the population towards the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, but Israel insists on carrying out a ground operation in Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians are gathered.

Last night, Israel launched intense air strikes on Rafah, killing more than 100 Palestinians, and said that it was able to free two of its more than 130 prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip, according to its army data.
