War on Gaza: fierce battles in the center of Khan Yunis and heavy bombing on Jabalia

As the war on Gaza enters its 102nd day, fierce battles are taking place in the center of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, where the Palestinian resistance announced that it had killed Israeli soldiers in operations in this combat axis, while the occupation is launching heavy bombardment on Jabalia to the north.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza rose to 24,100 dead, and 60,834 injuries according to the latest toll announced by the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip yesterday, Monday.

This comes at a time when Israel withdrew some of its forces in preparation for greatly reducing its military operations in the Gaza Strip, after more than 100 days during which it suffered heavy losses in life and equipment.

Simultaneously, night confrontations broke out in the occupied West Bank, at a time when the occupation was strengthening its military deployment there, after Israeli security officials warned that the situation was on the verge of explosion.

The latest developments

Israeli Army Radio quoted War Council Minister Gideon Sa'ar as saying that they are very far from ending the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The Israeli army announced that a major officer was killed and two others were seriously injured in battles that took place at night in the southern Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday morning, Israeli warplanes launched raids on Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces simultaneously carried out intense and continuous artillery shelling on citizens' homes in Jabalia camp.
