Report: Israel may agree to 4 field hospitals in Gaza. Sources confirmed no plan to displace Gaza residents to Sinai
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported today (Saturday) that Israel may agree to establish four field hospitals in Gaza, and quoted political sources as saying that there are no plans to evacuate residents from Gaza to the Rafah area near the Egyptian border, according to what was reported by the World News Agency. Arabi".
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the four hospitals will be established by Turkey, Egypt, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and Doctors Without Borders.
The authority quoted sources as saying, “There is no plan to evacuate residents from Gaza to the Rafah area... The relationship between Israel and Egypt is strategic and important, and the two countries are cooperating to prevent storming the border into Sinai.”
Through its veto, the United States dropped a draft resolution in the UN Security Council calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, while the war between Israel and Hamas continues amid international calls to end “the loss of Palestinian lives.”
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stressed that the attack launched by Hamas on Israel on October 7 does not justify “collective punishment” of the Palestinians, in light of an escalating humanitarian crisis.
