More than 83 citizens were killed today, Monday, and others were injured in continuous Israeli bombing of inhabited homes in various areas in the Gaza Strip.
Al Jazeera said that 83 dead were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City since dawn on Monday.
Press sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed with missiles dozens of homes in the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods, belonging to the families of Abu Halima, Al-Dahdouh, Ishtaiwi, Al-Thalateeni, Abu Al-Zour, Abu Aklin, and other families, which led to at least 30 dead, the majority of whom were children, and the wounding of others. Houses were destroyed on top of their residents.
Warplanes had bombed a group of civil defense crews in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, resulting in two deaths, 10 others being injured, and the place being damaged.
Occupation artillery surrounded the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, specifically the old town of Gaza City, amid heavy fire from warplanes and drones.
In a related context, the Red Crescent Society reported the death of paramedic Osama Tayeh (37 years old), a volunteer first responder with the Crescent Ambulance Team in the Al-Faluja area in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, after he refused to leave northern Gaza for the south and insisted on continuing to provide emergency health care services to the people suffering from the scourge of the bombing, and the employee, Muhammad Abu Rukba, who was with him, was also injured.
