Israeli army arrests 60 Palestinians from West Bank, 3540 Palestinians arrested since October 7
From yesterday evening until Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least (60) citizens from the West Bank, including former prisoners. The arrests were concentrated in the Dheisheh Camp/Bethlehem, while the rest of the arrests were distributed across the majority of the West Bank governorates, and a group of them were later released.
During the arrest campaigns, the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out widespread acts of abuse, severe beatings, field investigations, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, in addition to detaining citizens as hostages to pressure family members to surrender themselves.
Thus, the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October rose to more than (3,540), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, those who were held hostage, and those who were summoned and arrested later.
The ongoing arrest campaigns come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against our people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, after the seventh of last October, and have included all groups, including children, the elderly, women, and hundreds of former prisoners who spent years in Israeli occupation prisons.
