Second day of Gaza truce| Calm in the field and anticipation of a new batch of prisoners
On the second day of the temporary truce in the Gaza Strip, calm prevails on the ground, while the Palestinian street awaits the release of the second batch of prisoners in the occupation prisons and the release of a new batch of detainees held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, a day after the occupation authorities released 39 Palestinian prisoners in exchange to 13 Israeli detainee.
Israel receives a list of the names of the hostages who will be released today
Officials said that Israel received a list of the names of prisoners scheduled to be released by Hamas in Gaza today, Saturday, after the release of 24 prisoners yesterday, Friday.
A statement issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said that Israeli security officials are reviewing the list.
20 Thais still detained by Hamas
The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday that 20 Thai citizens are still being held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) after the movement released ten of them.
The ministry added that those who were released from Gaza yesterday, Friday, will return to their homes after spending 48 hours in the hospital.
