Palestinian Prisoners' Association and Prisoners' Club: 880 Palestinian children have been arrested by Israel in 2023
The Commission for Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said on Monday that the Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than (880) children since the beginning of this year, noting that (145) arrests were recorded last October.
The two institutions said in a statement on the occasion of World Children’s Day, which falls on November 20 of each year, that the Israeli occupation, in addition to the ongoing genocide against our people in Gaza, including thousands of children, continues its systematic arrest operations against Palestinian teens in the West Bank, which has been detrimental and has been devastating. It remains one of the most prominent and systematic policies targeting Palestinian children and teens.
