Israeli Defense Minister: Beirut may face the same fate as the Gaza Strip

Today, Saturday, Israeli Occupation Army Minister Yoav Galant inspected the northern border with Lebanon.

The occupation army minister said that the Hezbollah group is dragging Lebanon into war, claiming that Lebanese citizens will be the ones who will pay the price.

The occupation army minister added, "What we do in Gaza, we can do in Beirut."

He continued: “Our pilots are sitting in the cockpit, with the noses of the planes facing north. We have enough to do everything we need in the south, but the air power is directed towards the north and its strength is very large.”

Targeting hospitals

In the context of the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, an Israeli military official said today, Saturday, that the army is not firing on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, but that clashes are taking place with Hamas around it, adding that people there can still leave the hospital safely.

Colonel Moshe Tetro of the Government Coordination Unit in the Territories said in a video message in Arabic that the eastern side of the hospital was open to anyone who wanted to leave safely.

On the ground, the statements of officials and what is broadcast by various media outlets reveal another picture that contradicts the Israeli allegations.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the cessation of operations at Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to running out of fuel and repeated Israeli bombing.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, said that operations at Al-Shifa Medical Complex stopped after the fuel ran out completely, indicating that the occupation is besieging the medical teams inside the complex.

Al-Qudra added in an interview with Al-Ghad that 39 children in Al-Shifa Hospital are at risk of death due to the interruption of electricity, oxygen, and medications.
