Former US President Donald Trump strongly criticized Israel regarding the war it is waging in the Gaza Strip, describing what is happening as "terrible and terrible" and expressing his solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with the Univision television network yesterday, Friday, Trump touched on the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, and considered them unbelievable.

He stressed that many people are dying, directing criticism at Israeli propaganda regarding the war, saying, "Israel needs to do a better job in public relations, because the other party is directing a blow at them on this front."

On the other hand, Israeli Channel 12 described Trump's statements as "surprising."

Macron criticizes Israel

Following in Trump's footsteps, statements against Israel and its war on Gaza also came from Europe, especially those who came on a solidarity visit to Israel only about two weeks ago.

French President Emmanuel Macron said - in an interview last night with the British BBC - that Israel must stop killing civilians in Gaza.

Macron stressed that Israel's war on Gaza kills children, women and the elderly, without any reason or legitimacy for this.

Following Macron's statements, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly responded to him, saying that the responsibility for harming civilians lies with the Hamas movement, and not with Israel, because Hamas is holding "our hostages."

In his response to Macron's statements, Netanyahu claimed that the Hamas movement uses schools, mosques and hospitals as headquarters, as he put it.

He added, "World leaders should condemn Hamas, not Israel."

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also criticized Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, saying, "A lot of things must be done to protect civilians and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches them. A very large number of Palestinians have been killed, and many of them have suffered during the war in recent weeks."
