Ramallah - "Al Quds" dot com - The Arab Observatory for Human Rights condemned, in a statement today, the Israeli authorities' closure of seven Palestinian civil and human rights organizations and institutions, and direct incitement against these institutions, in a flagrant defiance of the international human rights system, and a violation of rights and freedoms.
The Observatory considered that these arbitrary measures against these institutions come within the framework of covering up the crimes of the occupying power, and are an integral part of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian presence.
The Arab Observatory for Human Rights called on the international community and international and regional organizations concerned with human rights to put an end to the violations of the occupation, hold it accountable for these crimes, provide protection for the Palestinian people and civil work institutions, and put pressure on the occupying state to stop the ongoing aggression against it.
