Settler terrorism in Nablus villages necessitates activating and organizing popular resistance

Talking about the increasing settler attacks on citizens in West Bank villages is no longer enough, nor are condemnation statements and appeals to the international community effective in light of the continued policy of impunity and the silence of the international community, which amounts to complicity with the occupation government that provides full protection for settler terrorism.What happened over the past two days in the villages of Beit Furik, Tal, and Beit Dajan, where settler gangs attacked residents, their homes, and their properties under the protection of the occupation army, leading to the martyrdom of six citizens and the injury of dozens, some with serious wounds, confirms that we are facing a new stage of organized terrorism, aimed at breaking the will of citizens, forcibly displacing them, and imposing new settlement realities on the ground.The people of these villages bravely confronted this aggression, proving once again that the steadfastness of citizens is the first line of defense for the land. However, this steadfastness requires organized national support and a field action plan commensurate with the escalating threat.Nablus villages are now in the eye of the storm, and what is happening there are not isolated incidents, but part of a settlement plan targeting the northern West Bank, gradually extending to include its various governorates, taking advantage of the world's preoccupation with the war of annihilation in the Gaza Strip, and the state of division and weakness plaguing the Palestinian arena.Therefore, national responsibility dictates moving from reactions to organized action, by activating and expanding popular resistance in all threatened areas, organizing it within the framework of popular protection and guard committees, strengthening emergency and support committees, and providing all elements of steadfastness for citizens, enabling them to protect their lands and properties and thwart displacement and settlement plans.The current stage also necessitates accelerating national unity, strengthening joint field work among all forces and activities, and launching the broadest political, legal, and media campaign to expose the crimes of the occupation and its settlers, and demanding that the international community bear its responsibilities, not through condemnation statements, but by imposing sanctions on the occupation state, and holding its leaders and settlers accountable for their crimes.What is happening today in Nablus villages may be repeated tomorrow in any Palestinian village or city if settler terrorism remains unchecked. Therefore, defending Beit Furik, Beit Dajan, and Tal is a defense of Nablus, of the entire West Bank, and of the Palestinian right to remain on the land. The battle is no longer the battle of a specific village, but the battle of a people defending their existence, identity, and future in the face of a replacement settlement project that can only be thwarted by solid national unity, organized popular resistance, and a Palestinian will capable of transforming steadfastness into daily struggle that protects people and land.
