At dawn on Sunday, 5 civilians were wounded by Israeli forces, after they stormed the Tulkarem refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
According to local sources, special forces infiltrated the camp, followed by military reinforcements, where snipers were installed and several houses in the camp were raided. Violent armed clashes erupted between the occupation forces and the resistance groups.
Clashes also broke out between dozens of young men and those forces, who used live bullets, rubber and tear gas canisters. Five young men were wounded, one of whom was described as serious, and was transferred to Nablus hospitals for treatment.
