Israeli occupation forces shot dead a Palestinian man on Thursday morning during an arrest raid in the West Bank city of Jenin.
According to the Health Ministry, 32-year-old Mustafa al-Kastouni died after he was shot with live ammunition in the head, chest and abdomen. Later in the day, thousands gathered in Jenin to mourn al-Kastouni.
The occupation forces arrested two citizens: Al-Kastouni's brother and Hassan Hussais.
A 34-year-old Health Ministry employee was wounded by two bullets in the abdomen and chest.
Another Palestinian was wounded and is in a moderate condition.
The Israeli occupation army said that one soldier was lightly injured in the operation.
It said that the men targeted in the raid belonged to Islamic Jihad.
