Youssef Abu Ghanem (60 years old) was killed, at dawn on Wednesday, as a result of being shot by unknown persons while he was approaching a mosque to perform the dawn prayer in the occupied city of Lod.
According to the Hebrew website, Ynet, Abu Ghanem received several bullets, which led to his death instantly.
He pointed out that his nephew, Hamza Abu Ghanem, was killed about a month ago, when he was returning from Fajr prayer at the time.
This brings the number of people killed by crimes in the occupied territories since the beginning of the year to 79, including 18 in the current month.
