Settlers demolish a number of shops in the Old City of Hebron

Today, Wednesday, settlers, protected by Israeli soldiers, demolished a number of shops in the Old City of Hebron .

Local sources said that settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, demolished about five shops located in the market known as Al-Ataq “Al-Raish” market, near Al-Sunniyya Mosque, inside the Old Hisba area.

It is noteworthy that this area has been completely closed and isolated by the occupation forces for more than 25 years, and citizens and its owners are prohibited from entering or accessing it. On the other hand, it is completely open to settlers, who, under the protection of the occupation forces, demolished 5 of it, in preparation for seizing the land and building units.
