Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man after closing the Al-Jalama checkpoint , north of Jenin .
According to local sources, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Ahmed Hussam Abu Farha, while he was working on a vegetable stand at Al-Jalama checkpoint.
The head of the Al-Jalama Council, Amjad Abu Farha, told Al-Quds.com that what happened was that an unknown young man brandished a plastic pistol and directed it at the checkpoint. The occupation forces mobilized, fired several bullets in the air, and closed the checkpoint.
Israeli patrols stormed the Al-Jalameh area, and are still detaining the citizens and subjecting them to field investigation.
And Hebrew sources said: "The security guards at the Gilboa crossing noticed a short while ago a Palestinian walking around with a gun in his hand, so they fired warning shots at the suspect, who got into a car and fled from the scene."
