Vladivostok (Xinhua) -- At least 20 people have been killed and six others injured in a fire in a private nursing home in Kemerovo, Russia's West Siberian region, Tass news agency reported Saturday.
The report said that two of the injured were in critical condition.
The report, quoting law enforcement agencies, added that the fire was caused by a fault in the operation of the stove used for heating.
The fire broke out on Friday night in a two-story wooden building that houses the nursing home, which law enforcement agencies said was open illegally.
