Gaza - Ahmed Al-Masharawi - The football coach in the Gaza Strip, Sami Al-Shanti, obtained a master's degree in the field of sports and football, under the supervision of experts in this field from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in the discussion that took place in the conference hall of Al-Aqsa Governmental University.
For his thesis, which was entitled: Skill tests for selecting soccer players, in the presence of a crowd of sports personalities, specialists, coaches and cadres working in clubs and federations.
The judging and discussion committee consisted of Dr. Asaad Al-Majdalawi (supervisor and chairperson), Vice-President of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Hisham Al-Aqra’ (internal discussant), and Dr. Mazen Al-Khatib from the West Bank (external discussant), one of the sports experts who held great positions in the Olympic Committee, federations and clubs.
It is reported that Al-Shanti works as a teacher of physical education at the UNRWA, as a football coach, and has held the position of Vice President of the Sports Academy.
