The death toll from Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since Tuesday afternoon has risen to three martyrs, including a child, in addition to approximately 19 others sustaining various injuries. The attacks focused on areas in the northern and southern parts of the Strip, where a drone targeted an electric bicycle on Asdaa Street in the Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis city, leading to critical injuries among civilians present in the area, which is usually classified as a shelter zone.
In another field development in the northern Strip, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was seriously injured as a result of shelling carried out by an Israeli drone targeting the roof of a house near Abu Sharh roundabout in the Faluja area, west of Jabalia camp. Similar shelling also hit a house in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, resulting in another citizen sustaining severe injuries, while drones continued their intensive flights over residential neighborhoods.
Regarding retrieval operations, ambulance and civil defense crews managed to retrieve the body of a martyr who fell earlier due to Israeli shelling near the Kuwait roundabout in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The martyr's body was transferred to the Baptist Hospital, while rescue teams still face difficulties in reaching some targeted areas due to continuous gunfire and concentrated artillery shelling.
According to data issued by the Ministry of Health, these aggressions come in the context of daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 2025, with the death toll since that date reaching 1053 martyrs. Reports indicate that Israeli shelling is increasingly targeting areas outside the control of the occupation army as defined by the agreement, exacerbating the already deteriorating humanitarian situation.
On the ground, the occupation army carried out three massive demolition operations of residential buildings and facilities in the northeastern part of Khan Yunis city. A massive explosion was also heard resulting from the destruction of residential blocks near the Sanafour intersection in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza. These operations coincide with intensive artillery shelling targeting the northwestern outskirts of Rafah city, amidst gunfire from military vehicles stationed on the border.
Field data indicates that the occupation has expanded its effective control to include more than 70% of the Gaza Strip's area, by shifting the so-called 'Yellow Line' westward. Local sources observed military vehicles encroaching into Nuseirat camp and moving concrete blocks for a distance of up to 150 meters, effectively increasing the area of restricted zones for Palestinians and reducing the available spaces for displaced persons.
It is worth noting that the total number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has exceeded 73,000 martyrs and more than 173,000 injured, amidst massive destruction affecting about 90% of the infrastructure. The humanitarian suffering continues with the targeting of sports and civilian facilities, as the number of martyrs in the sports movement has risen to 1009 martyrs, the latest of whom was Salim Khader Al-Ashqar, goalkeeper of Khidmat Khan Yunis Club.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the martyrdom of 1053 Palestinians and the injury of 3406 others since October 2025.
