Funeral of a martyred child in Beit Lahia and retrieval of 3 other bodies south of the Gaza Strip

Large crowds in the Beit Lahia project, north of the Gaza Strip, bid farewell to the body of the martyred child, Jude Al-Dweik, 13 years old, who was killed as a result of an attack carried out by a drone belonging to the occupation army. Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed the arrival of the child's body and two other injured individuals, after a 'quadcopter' drone directly dropped a bomb on a gathering of citizens in the area, leading to these casualties among civilians.

In the southern areas of the Strip, ambulance and civil defense teams were able to retrieve the bodies of three Palestinian martyrs who had fallen earlier by the fire of the occupation forces. Medical sources at Nasser Hospital explained that two of the martyrs, who were retrieved from the Al-Alam roundabout area in Mawasi Rafah, were working as drivers of humanitarian aid trucks, where Israeli bullets targeted them while they were performing their duties days ago.

Medical teams also succeeded in retrieving the body of a third martyr from the Al-Qarara area, located northeast of Khan Yunis city, who had been killed by the occupation army's fire in recent days without the teams being able to reach him at the time. In a related context, field sources reported that a Palestinian citizen was injured with varying degrees of wounds as a result of a bomb dropped by an Israeli drone targeting the vicinity of the Halawa displacement camp in the Jabalia Al-Balad area, north of the Strip.

These field developments come amidst the continued violation by the occupation state of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025. Official statistics indicate that these violations have so far resulted in the martyrdom of 881 Palestinians and the injury of 2621 others, adding these numbers to the catastrophic toll of the ongoing war of extermination since October 2023, which has left more than 72,000 martyrs and massive destruction to the infrastructure of the Strip.

The occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement, with the death toll since last October 10 reaching 881 martyrs and 2621 injured.
