The Israeli occupation approves the resumption of traders' goods of these types into Gaza
The Israeli occupation agrees to allow some goods into Gaza under strict security conditions and precise assessments
The coordinator of the Israeli occupation government's activities announced today, Tuesday, that the security and political cabinet has approved allowing some goods into the Gaza Strip, with the aim of facilitating trade and improving humanitarian conditions in the besieged area.
According to the decision, the entry of goods will be conducted through a new mechanism limited to a specific category of traders, with adherence to strict security conditions and precise assessments to ensure they are not used for military or security purposes by the occupation.
The goods permitted for entry include basic food items, baby food, fruits and vegetables, in addition to hygiene supplies, with payment to be made only through bank transfers, without any direct cash transactions.
The statement confirmed that all shipments will be subject to strict inspections by the border crossings authority, as part of the security measures adopted by the occupation authorities, to ensure that prohibited or unlicensed materials are not smuggled into the area.
This step comes as part of the occupation's efforts to ease the blockade imposed on Gaza, despite the continued restrictions on other types of goods, amid escalating tensions and security events in the region.
