Injury of Palestinians by occupation bullets in confrontations in the West Bank

Escalation of confrontations and Israeli arrests in the West Bank and assaults on Palestinians

Two Palestinians were injured on Friday evening by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that erupted in various areas of the West Bank, with one injured in the town of Beit Daqou northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and the other in the town of Deir Jarir east of Ramallah. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with the injury of a 21-year-old young man who was shot with live ammunition in his leg, after being shot by occupation forces in Beit Daqou, where confrontations erupted following the incursion of Israeli vehicles into the town and the firing of tear gas and live ammunition at the demonstrators.

In Deir Jarir, settlers stormed the western entrance of the town last night and set fire to agricultural lands on its outskirts, leading to confrontations with the locals who resisted the attack. The occupation forces used live ammunition and tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, resulting in minor injuries to a young man. This assault comes a day after a similar incursion in the town, which included assaults on locals and the burning of private property, as part of the escalation of the occupation's military operations in the area.

Simultaneously, occupation forces stormed the Kafr Aqab area north of Jerusalem, amid heavy military presence and the hovering of reconnaissance aircraft in the skies, continuing their operations in the neighboring city of Al-Bireh, including the Al-Balou area, through raids on Palestinian homes and arrests of several citizens, including Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank.

In the city of Tamoun south of Tubas, occupation forces raided homes in the Al-Rafid area and arrested four Palestinians, including the wife of one of the wanted individuals, in an attempt to pressure their families to surrender. They also carried out raids and arrests in Nablus, where occupation forces stormed the eastern and central areas of the city and arrested a Palestinian from the Al-Tawoun neighborhood after raiding one of the residential buildings, in addition to arresting a Palestinian boy from his home in Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.

In Hebron, occupation forces continued their operations, storming the Wadi Al-Hariya neighborhood and began searching citizens' homes, as well as raiding several homes in the town of Samu' south of the governorate. These assaults come amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli army and settlers have killed more than a thousand Palestinians since the beginning of the escalation, injured about seven thousand others, and arrested more than 18 thousand Palestinians, according to official Palestinian data.
