In a non-final statistic, 28 dead have been reported in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Medical sources announced on Monday that 28 civilians were killed as a result of Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

In turn, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that more than 700 people, the majority of them children, were killed in 112 massacres perpetrated by the occupation forces targeting water filling lines in the Gaza Strip.

In his statement, he said, "In one of the most heinous crimes committed against humanity, the Israeli occupation continues to wage a systematic and deliberate war of deprivation against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian conventions, using water as a weapon of collective warfare to exterminate the population and strip them of their most basic human rights."

The Government Media Office reported that 112 fresh water filling stations were targeted, "committing massacres against hundreds of civilians in water filling lines, most of them children seeking drinking water. The most recent massacre occurred in the New Camp, northwest of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces killed 12 martyrs, including eight children."

"The occupation deliberately destroyed 720 water wells, putting them out of service, depriving more than a million and a quarter people of access to clean water. It prevented the entry of 12 million liters of fuel per month, the minimum amount needed to operate water wells, sewage treatment plants, waste collection vehicles, and other vital sectors. This ban has caused a near-total paralysis of the water and sewage networks and exacerbated the spread of epidemics, especially among children," he continued.

The Government Media Office said, "Since January 23, 2025, the occupation has cut off Mekorot water, the last major source of water supply to the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the tragedy of thirst and daily suffering. On March 9, the occupation cut off the last power line that supplied the last central water desalination plant, located south of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, halting the production of large quantities of drinking water and further exacerbating the stifling water crisis."

He pointed out that "the Gaza Strip is today witnessing a major crime of deprivation of water, carried out by the Israeli occupation in a deliberate and systematic manner, amidst complete international silence and the direct and indirect participation of European and Western countries involved in supporting the occupation or colluding with it in the crime of genocide, the pillars and clear components of which are no longer hidden from anyone, most notably: starvation, deprivation of water, medicine, shelter and water."

The government media in Gaza affirmed that "this racist policy constitutes a full-fledged war crime under the Geneva Conventions and a serious violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, for which the Israeli occupation authorities bear full responsibility. We also hold the countries that support and are complicit in this genocide, primarily the United States, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, legally and morally responsible for the continuation of this most serious humanitarian catastrophe in modern times."

He called on the international community and all UN, human rights, and international legal institutions to take urgent action to: “First, immediately stop the war of deprivation and ensure unhindered access to water for civilians. Second, pressure the occupation to allow the entry of fuel and equipment necessary to operate water wells and sewage stations. Third, open an urgent international investigation into the crime of deprivation of water as part of the ongoing genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip. Fourth, hold the occupation accountable before international courts for its crimes against defenseless civilians and bring its criminal leaders to justice.”
