The death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday, as a result of Israeli occupation gunfire and shelling, has risen to 55, with many more injured.
Local sources reported that three citizens were killed and three others were injured when the occupation forces bombed an apartment building near the Haidar Abdel Shafi intersection, west of Gaza City. Two citizens were also killed and others were injured when a group of citizens were bombed on Al-Nasr Street, north of Gaza City.
She added that a citizen was killed and others were injured in the occupation's bombing of Fakri Abu Warda Street in the Jabalia Al-Nazla area, north of the Gaza Strip.
She noted that four citizens were killed and others were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of citizens in the vicinity of Salah al-Din Mosque in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. A citizen was also killed and several others were injured in a bombing that targeted a home belonging to the Thabet family in the al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In Deir al-Balah, the occupation forces committed a massacre after shelling a queue to receive food aid, killing 15 civilians, including eight children and two women.
In the central Gaza Strip, four citizens were killed and others were injured when Israeli aircraft bombed a house belonging to the Abu Jild family in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Five citizens, including two children, were also killed when an Israeli drone bombed the tents of displaced people near Well 19 in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Two citizens were also killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation opened fire on displaced people southwest of the city.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 57,860 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 137,409 others. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
