The Israeli Home Front Command announced on Sunday morning restrictions on Israelis for fear that Hezbollah would continue to fire missiles that could reach Tel Aviv and elsewhere.
It was noted that the restrictions are less strict for residents of Gush Dan (Greater Tel Aviv), but more strict for residents of the northern areas.
Residents were asked to stay near protected areas.
The Haifa Municipality announced the closure of beaches, the opening of public shelters, and the cancellation of all public events, while the Gush Dan municipalities announced the closure of some of the area's beaches, such as Bat Yam and Rishon LeZion.
The University of Haifa announced the suspension of studies.
