Three settlers were injured in a shooting attack east of Qalqilya on Thursday morning, the third such attack since midnight in the northern West Bank.
Channel 14 Israel reported that the shooting occurred from a speeding Palestinian vehicle on Route 55 near the village of Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilya, resulting in three injuries.
According to the Israeli ambulance, two wounded people were transferred to the hospital in moderate condition. The third wounded person was in minor condition and was treated on the spot.
The occupation army radio reported that the initial investigation showed that the vehicle used in the operation withdrew towards Qalqilya, and that the army launched a large-scale manhunt for the perpetrators. Following this, local sources reported that the Nabi Elias Gate and the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya were closed.
