Issrael prevents farmers from using water pumps in the northern Jordan Valley

On Friday, Israeli occupation forces prevented Palestinian farmers from using water pumps to irrigate their irrigated crops in Khirbet al-Deir in the northern Jordan Valley.

Human rights activist Arif Daraghmeh reported that the occupation stormed the Khirbet al-Deir border, and prevented Palestinian farmers from using water pumps placed next to the water springs to irrigate their crops, adding that there are calls among settlers for “tourist days” at the springs themselves.

Daraghmeh pointed out that in the last two years, settlers seized ten springs and turned them into picnic areas, noting that the Palestinians were using them to irrigate their irrigated crops.
