Today, Wednesday, hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City of Hebron, amid strict military measures imposed by the occupation forces on citizens in those areas.
Local sources said that hundreds of settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation army, stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City of Hebron, where the settlers organized a number of provocative marches that started from the settlements and settlement outposts established on citizens’ lands in the city of Hebron and outside it, towards the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City of Hebron, in the middle of Strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on citizens to secure settler incursions.
These forces escalated their repressive measures against citizens, prevented their movement, forced shop owners to close them, and closed all military checkpoints and electronic gates leading to the Mosque, to secure settlers’ incursions into the Mosque and its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation forces had closed the Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslim worshipers, starting today, Wednesday, for two days, under the pretext of Jewish holidays.
