The United Nations calls on Israel to stop supporting settler attacks in the West Bank

The United Nations expressed, on Tuesday, its deep concern about the escalation of violence in the occupied West Bank, and called on the Israeli occupation forces to “immediately stop their active participation and support for settler attacks” on Palestinians there.

“Instead, the Israeli authorities must prevent further attacks, including by holding those responsible accountable,” Ravina Shamdasani, spokeswoman for the UN Human Rights Office, told reporters in Geneva.
