The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research condemned the occupation’s bombing of Al-Isra University in the Gaza Strip, which comes as a continuation of the destructive scene targeting higher education institutions, as Israel previously targeted a large number of higher education institutions in the Gaza Strip and destroyed them completely or partially, as part of the criminal war launched against the Palestinian people.
The Ministry confirmed, in a statement, that this destruction is a clear violation of all international laws, charters and norms that guarantee the protection of educational institutions and preserve their sanctity.
Higher Education stressed the need for international humanitarian and human rights institutions to bear their responsibilities to curb this occupation, which targets the Palestinian people in general and pursues a policy of destroying educational institutions, stressing that higher education institutions in the Gaza Strip will rise again and continue their lofty mission despite the occupation’s aggression and criminality.
