Wide confrontations and clashes with Israeli army, massive arrest campaign in West Bank

The raids and arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Nablus, Hebron, Jericho, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Jenin, during which dozens of homes were stormed and searched, their contents were tampered with, and their residents were subjected to field investigations after being detained for hours.


At dawn and Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and incursions into the occupied West Bank, which included confrontations and clashes in some areas, and the arrests of dozens of Palestinians.


Institutions concerned with prisoners' affairs reported that the occupation forces arrested dozens of Palestinians from the West Bank, most of them liberated prisoners, after storming and searching family homes in various parts of the West Bank.


The raids and arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Nablus, Hebron, Jericho, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Jenin, during which dozens of homes were stormed and searched, their contents were tampered with, and their residents were subjected to field investigations after being detained for hours.


The occupation army re-arrested 7 liberated prisoners from the city of Nablus, namely: Shadi Hanoun, Hosni Al-Amoudi, Amjad Al-Sayeh, Muhammad Al-Qutb, Basem Al-Ataba, Hassan Al-Safadi, and Hatem Al-Afouri.


The occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in the city of Hebron, and among the detainees were: Raif Burgan, Nizam Burgan, Muhammad Talal Al-Rajabi, Tamer Talab Al-Ajlouni, Ayman Al-Rajabi, Mahmoud Nayef Al-Ajlouni, Omar Abu Hussein, Ammar Abu Hussein, and Wassim Zidan Al-Jamal.


The occupation forces arrested the two liberated prisoners: Ibrahim Abu Al-Asal and Mahmoud Batanja, and the young man Badr Al-Muqiti, after storming and searching their homes in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, Jericho district.


The occupation re-arrested the freed prisoner, Louay Freij, after storming his home in the city of Qalqilya.


The occupation forces stormed the town of Ni'lin, Ramallah District, and arrested 11 Palestinians, namely: the boy Miqdad Sorour after raiding his family's home, Badr Al-Khawaja, his wife, and his two sons, Ahmed and Helmi, in addition to: the mayor of Ni'lin, Yousef Al-Khawaja, and the brothers: Wasfi, Muhammad, and Malik Nawaf Al-Khawaja, the young man, Arqam Muhammad. Sorour, and the young man Muhammad Fadaei Nafi.


The occupation forces arrested the two young men, Muhammad Hossam Safi, who was wounded and had been hit by occupation bullets, in addition to the freed prisoner, Iyad Mahmoud Safi, from the Jalazoun refugee camp.


The occupation army re-arrested the freed prisoner, Mahmoud Noah Harish, after raiding his house in the town of Beitunia, Ramallah district, at dawn today.


The occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, Bethlehem District, and arrested the two young men: Muhammad Khaled Diriyah, and Ali Muhammad Diriyah, who is a person with special needs, after raiding and searching their family homes.


The occupation forces arrested 5 young men from the city of Bethlehem: Alaa Al-Shalash and Mustafa Masalma from the town of Doha, west of the city, Ahmed Al-Saifi and Abdullah Manasra from the Dheisha refugee camp, and Suhaib Khalil Atiya from the town of Husan.


The two brothers, Bilal and Muawiyah Al-Karam, were arrested at dawn today, after their homes in the village of Jalqamous, Jenin district, were raided.


In Ramallah, Palestinians opened heavy fire on occupation vehicles and soldiers during their storming of the Jalazoun refugee camp. Palestinians also opened fire on occupation vehicles during their storming of the city of Nablus in the Al-Tur area.
