A young man was shot and another was arrested, this Wednesday evening, during confrontations that broke out with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Ya`bad, south of Jenin. The occupation forces also stormed the town of Jaba and villages in the governorate.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Ya`bad, raided several neighborhoods, set up ambushes in the vicinity of shops and homes, and deployed infantry teams between the olive groves at the entrance to the town, in the Mriha neighborhood, and in the agricultural lands opposite the Dotan military checkpoint, which led to the outbreak of confrontations between young men and the occupation forces, who... Bullets, stun grenades, and toxic tear gas were fired, wounding a 24-year-old man with live bullets in the hand.

The occupation forces also arrested the young man Sharif Ali Harzallah (19 years old).

The sources added that the occupation forces fired bullets at a vehicle in the Al-Bayader area, without any injuries reported.

In a related context, the occupation forces stormed the village of Jalboun, northeast of Jenin, and seized an abandoned house in the center of the village belonging to the citizen Izzat Abu Al-Rub. They raided the neighborhoods of the village and launched a combing campaign.

The sources added that the occupation forces stormed the town of Jaba, which led to the outbreak of violent confrontations at the entrance to the town. They also stormed the villages of Umm Dar, Al-Khalijan, Zabada and Nazlet Zeid, southwest of Jenin, and the village of Al-Jalama, northeast of Jenin, and launched extensive combing campaigns.
