Earlier today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army announced the names of 11 other soldiers who were killed during the fierce battles with the Palestinian resistance in the northern Gaza Strip last night, while four other soldiers were seriously injured. Yesterday, Tuesday, the occupation army announced the killing of two soldiers during the clashes.

The Israeli occupation army said that 9 soldiers from the "Tsbar" battalion in the Givati Brigade were killed after a gunman who emerged from inside a tunnel fired an anti-tank missile at the Tiger armored vehicle in which they were located, while two other soldiers from the 77th Battalion were killed, After boarding the tank, in which they were, on an explosive device.

Netanyahu: We are fighting a difficult war

In addition, Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, commenting on the killing of soldiers in the Gaza Strip since yesterday, said, “The war is difficult and long.”

Netanyahu added: “We are fighting a difficult war. It will be a long war, in which we have achieved important achievements, but also painful losses. We know that each of our soldiers is a world unto himself.”

While expressing his condolences to the families of the dead soldiers, he said: “We will complete the mission, and we will continue until victory.”

Gallant: A severe and painful blow

In turn, Israeli Security Minister Yoav Galant said on Wednesday that the fall of soldiers in the battles was a “severe and painful blow,” stressing in return that the army had achieved “meaningful achievements” in the Gaza Strip. “We are primed and prepared for a long and complex campaign,” he wrote on the X platform.

This comes as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced on Wednesday morning the destruction of an Israeli vehicle penetrating east of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with a “Yassin 105” shell, causing it to catch fire, after last night witnessed fierce clashes in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Palestinian media said that violent clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces penetrating south of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza. According to these means, during the clashes, explosions and heavy gunfire were heard, during which violent raids were launched.

The occupation army is working to expand its ground operation in the Ghara sector, while clashes are taking place on the ground in several areas, amid intense cover from Israeli warplanes.

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the twenty-sixth day, leaving more than 8,700 martyrs and 21,000 wounded, according to the latest statistics of the Ministry of Health.
