Türkiye arrests 37 people suspected of links to the PKK
Turkish security forces today (Wednesday) arrested at least 37 people suspected of having links to the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party and "neutralized" two others, as part of anti-terrorism operations, according to the Turkish Interior Minister.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerli Kaya said on the social media platform “X” that “two terrorists who were being searched for under an arrest warrant were neutralized when they tried to escape across the border in the Ağrı province in the east of the country.”
The Turkish authorities usually use the word “neutralize” in their statements to indicate that the aforementioned “terrorists” surrendered, were killed, or were arrested.
