ביום ראשון בערב תפסו כוחות הכיבוש הישראלי מכלית מים בכפר בורקה, מזרחית לרמאללה.

על פי מקורות מקומיים, כוחות אלה הסתערו על הכפר ותפסו מיכל שאיבת שפכים, השייך לאזרח סנאד עדנאן ברכאת, בתואנה של עבודה בשטח C.
