IDF cracks down on weekly anti-occupation protests in West Bank

Several Palestinians were injured by tear gas in clashes with Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank in Friday.

In the weekly anti-settlement march in Kafr Qaddum, several Palestinians were treated for tear gas inhalation at the site after Israeli troops fired tear gas grenades.

Also on Friday, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and their vehicles in Khirbet Qalqis, south of Hebron.

Eyewitnesses added that settlers closed down roads in the area with their activities, preventing Palestinians from reaching the city of Hebron.

Israeli settlers also stormed the Qaryut spring, south of Nablus. Local sources said that the settlers arrived at the spring under the protection of soldiers, who fired tear gas at the Palestinians, leading to clashes.

Settlers' attempts to takeover the spring have grown in intensity in recent months.
