Yehuda Fox, the senior commander of the IDF in the West Bank, said "Israel is facing a wave of terror the likes of which it has not known for many years."
Fox made the comments at the scene of the shooting attack that saw an Israeli woman was killed and another settler seriously injured on Monday morning in the South Hebron Hills in the occupied West Bank.
He was joined at the scene by the chief of staff, Herzi Halevi, along with the head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar.
