An 18-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces in a raid on Nour Al-Shams refugee camp, east of the West Bank city of Tulkarm.
The teenager – identified as Mahmoud Abu Sa'an – was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers during clashes in the camp. He was transferred a nearby hospital, where he announced dead at the scene.
The violent confrontations in Nour Al-Shams erupted after Israeli forces raided the camp. The troops fired live ammunition, as well as stun grenades and tear gas.
Later on Friday, thousands of Palestinians turned up at Sa'an's funeral. His body was carried from Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital to the Al-Rawda mosque, where funeral rites were performed over his body, before his burial.
