לאחר חצות נהרגו שני צעירים כשטבעו מול חופי רפיח, בדרום רצועת עזה.


על פי מקורות מקומיים, שני הצעירים, האדי אחמד קסאב (בן 23), והצעיר בסאם אחמד אל-דרבי (בן 18), מתו מיד לאחר שהוטבעו.
