Today, Sunday, the occupation army announced the arrest of the perpetrator of the shooting attack that took place this morning at the intersection of Tuqu' settlement, near Bethlehem.

The occupation army said in a statement that the forces of the special unit "Al-Yamam" besieged the perpetrator of the operation inside Al-Ribat Mosque in Bethlehem.

And 10 civilians were injured by tear gas suffocation as a result of clashes with the occupation forces.

According to local sources, the occupation forces stormed the city, reached its center, and stationed themselves in the vicinity of the Muqata’a, which is located on the main street, Jerusalem, Hebron.

The sources added that the occupation forces besieged the Al-Rabat Mosque, located opposite the Muqata’a, and violent confrontations erupted, as dozens of young men confronted the occupation soldiers and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers, who responded by firing rubber bullets and tear gas canisters, which led to the injury of many citizens with nausea and fainting.

In the same context, large forces of the occupation soldiers stormed the industrial zone in the Beit Jala area and worked to set up more military checkpoints, closing the entrances to the villages south of Bethlehem, in addition to closing the container checkpoint completely, which overlooks the Wadi al-Nar road that connects the north of the West Bank with its south.
