Israel injures, arrests Palestinians in raids across occupied West Bank
Several Palestinians were detained and injured in a series of raids on Wednesday morning by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank.
Israel has carried out dawn incursions into the West Bank on a recurring basis in the last year. In the early hours of Wednesday, troops entered Nablus to carry out arrests, and they were met with gunfire from resistance fighters.
The Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus said that five Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation and that the soldiers attacked an ambulance, which had its windshield broken. The troops arrested three ex-prisoners.
Israeli occupation forces also arrested a young man from Nur Shams refugee camp, after shooting at his vehicle near the town of Bala', east of the city. They also arrested another Palestinian from a western neighborhood of the city.
In Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho, Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians after storming the camp.
In Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces injured a man with live ammunition during a raid on the camp. They blew off the doors of several houses and arrested three other Palestinians.
They also arrested a man east on Qalqilya, two others Anata in occupied Jerusalem, and another man in the town of Kobar north of Ramallah. Another Palestinian from Nablus was arrested while in his workplace in the 48 territories (Israel).
