The Captive Club holds the occupation fully responsible for the fate and life of detainee Ahmed Hanatsheh

Today, Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club held the occupation prison administration fully responsible for the life of the administrative detainee Ahmed Azmi Hanatsheh (24 years old) from the city of Dura, who has been suffering from a difficult health condition since before his current arrest on December 23, 2022.


Detainee Hanatsheh suffers from a severe blood problem represented by (blood clotting), which has reached a difficult stage according to his family’s account, in addition to nerve problems, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital several times before his arrest, and he needs health follow-up and permanent treatment.


The Captive Club stated that the detainee Hanatsheh was subjected to an accident in October 2022, that is, about two months before his arrest, as he was seriously injured in one of his hands as a result of the explosion of fireworks, and he needed to undergo surgery, and its date was scheduled for the second day of his arrest, until Now the prison administration is procrastinating in carrying out the operation, in addition to the periodic examinations necessary for him, especially with regard to the problem of blood clotting.


It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities had renewed his administrative detention order for a new period of six months a few days ago, making this the second order issued against him since his arrest in December 2022, noting that he is a former prisoner who spent 20 months under administrative detention.
