Funerals take place for six martyrs across West Bank

Large crowds mourned six Palestinians martyrs across different areas of the occupied West Bank.


Two Palestinians were laid to rest in Jenin: 15-year-old Sadil Ghassan Naghniyeh, who succumbed to wounds sustained in Israel's assault on the city on Monday; and 55-year-old Nasser Saleh Sinan, who also died after sustaining a head woung in a different Israeli raid on Jenin last month. 


Dozens of classmates and friends of Naghniyeh participated in her funeral. Many also chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation. 


The mourners performed the funeral prayer over the bodies at the Great Mosque in Jenin Refugee Camp, before they were buried in the martyrs' cemetery.


In Nablus, large crowds mourned the bodies of the two martyrs, Muhammad Hashash and Alaa Hafnawi, who were killed in an accidental explosion on Tuesday night in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.


The funeral procession departed from Rafidia Hospital to the camp, where the participants performed the funeral prayers. The two teenagers were buried in the camp's cemetery.


On Tuesday night, Palestinian from the town of Orif mourned Khaled Sabah, one of the gunmen who carried out the shooting attack at Eli settlement, killing three settlers and one other Israeli.


In Al-Bireh, in the Ramallah Governorate, Palestinians had a belated funeral procession for 29-year-old Mahdi Bayadsa, whose body was returned by the occupation authorities two weeks after he was killed at Rantis checkpoint.
